Dentego, a network of dental centers, needed an effective way to train its operational teams (dental assistants, practitioners, managers) and to structure the training sessions offered through Dentego Académie. The goal was to produce short e-learning videos fast, in line with instructional standards, easy to deploy on the internal LMS and suited to recurring training formats.
Challenges
The main requirements were:
- produce instructional video lessons and interactive modules that field teams could use right away;
- standardize formats to keep instruction consistent across centers;
- get content ready faster for the sessions run by Dentego Académie;
- integrate the learning path (content and assessments) into the LMS to track skill gains.
How it ran
- Scoping: defining the priority learning paths (team onboarding, clinical procedures, Académie path).
- Instructional design: writing and approving the scripts with clinical and learning experts.
- Production: automated generation of the video lessons and packaging of interactive modules from the approved templates.
- Testing & sign-off: review sessions with the Dentego owners, fast adjustments to templates and activities.
- LMS rollout & tracking: module integration, learning path setup and usage and performance reporting.
Results & benefits
- Faster production: a marked drop in the time between a script being approved and a video going live.
- Consistent instruction: modules standardized across centers through templates, keeping learning path quality even.
- Scale: the capacity to produce sessions for Dentego Académie and feed internal team training at the same time.
- Tracking and steering: results and assessments feed into the LMS, making HR follow-up and continuous content improvement easier.
- Operational autonomy: know-how transferred to the internal teams so they can produce and update content without depending on the initial engagement long term.
