Consultants Immobilier is a network of 18 agencies. Like every holder of a French real-estate professional license, its sales agents are bound by a continuing education requirement: the French ALUR real-estate regulation mandates 42 hours of training over three years, a condition for renewing the license. The requirement applies to the whole network, every year, without interruption.
Challenges
Meeting that requirement through outside training providers alone creates three problems for a network of this size:
- Generic content: off-the-shelf courses cover the regulation, not the practices specific to the network;
- A calendar they don't control: sessions depend on provider availability, while agents work on tight schedules;
- The burden of proof: the network has to document, agent by agent, the hours actually completed.
How they work with EdBuild AI
Consultants Immobilier chose to build its compliance learning paths in-house, from its own subject-matter content:
- Building the learning paths: regulatory content and the network's practices are imported into EdBuild AI and structured into chapters and key lessons.
- Turning content into training: every lesson comes with automatically generated activities, including short videos delivered by an AI avatar, which remove the need for a video shoot.
- Checking what was learned: end-of-lesson quizzes verify understanding, where a signature on an attendance sheet proves nothing.
- Delivery and tracking: agents work through the learning paths in the LMS, at their own pace, and the team follows progress across the entire network.
Traceability and proof
The setup produces the record needed to justify the requirement: progress per learner, scores on assessment activities, history of completed learning paths. Proof of compliance is centralized and available at any time, with nothing to reconstruct after the fact.
Benefits
- Control over content: training covers the regulation through the network's real-world practices;
- Control over timing: learning paths are available continuously, with no dependency on an external session;
- Proof on demand: learning path tracking delivers the traceability expected;
- Fast updates: when the regulation or a practice changes, the module is fixed in-house and pushed back out to the network.
